If he finds he can spare a young player from his ranks, then I for one will sit up and take notice and consider a bid.

Managers such as SRA ought to be respected figures in the SESL.

I can't believe you were simply embarrassed at your trade offer asking for 11 TP+ for a 0/7 (or soon to be 0/11) ???

It's been years since I was at school doing my "Eleven-Plus" exams.

But I am fairly sure a teacher would say a 0/7 (or 0/11) is not worh over 11TP in the current market.

This 11+, was SRA looking for 12 or 13 TP when a 0/7 seasoned apprentice can cost from 200k! (less than 2TP value) So effectively it was 10 or 11 TP extra for just 4 more SL!

Embarassed? No not at all, I just asked for what I wanted... I thought someone may say "pah..offer you 2 or 3 less".

And the thread was started to sell my player and I just resented someone else piggybacking in order to undercut me, simple as that. Start your own thread if you want to sell a player.

Sure, a young player can be bought cheaper, but you then have to go though the pain of playing and training him and a cost of TP.

This way you use a similar amount of TP, but get the player without having to suffer the SL loss over 8 or 9 games..I've done that for you :0)

There is maybe a message here for SRA that the only people replying to your 'offer over 11TP' thread are taking the mickey!

Given 96 apprentices flooded freely in to SESL just a few weeks ago, I think you need a reality check on current player valuations.

As for supply and demand - who is going to have 11TP+ spare, and then still have enough TP to train your FW and train his other apprentices? Ludicrous.
