looking at the price guide he would be worth upwards of 1400 but below 1900 so i'm not all too far off surely! at least 1600!?

Hmm, there have been 5 big trades invloving age 1 players swapped for an older player. Values in brackets are the new value guide without any extras for position played, nor taking into account CP and TP already used.

1/15 (1000k)+ 2 TP for 2/24 (1320k)
1/19 (1480k) for 2/27 (1600k)
1/17 (1240k) for 3/26 (1180k)
1/15 (1000k) for 3/26 (1180k)
1/17 (1240k) for 3/24 (1010k) + 3/17 (500k)

None of these seem all that bad. Anyway it could be that the manager getting rid of the older player doesn't have the expensive CP to use but he does have plenty of free TP to use on the younger player.

If you're after a WG I believe DFA have 1 or 2 for sale.
