Anyway we can get this now very large part of the real life game into SESL?

With DEE, MOT and LIV now all going into admin, and DFA looking to be next, why don't we bankrupt all those clubs in SESL? Make them dump all their best players so us well off clubs can nab them for free?? blink.gif

Still causing trouble in my absence then.

Trust you Mr Findlay!

I've actually had another thought, as they do abroad, if a team goes into administration they are relegated the following season...

We could bring that in, if your team go into admin in real life, your SESL team is plummeted down a division?

....Only if loss of biscuit tin, in freak tea spillage accident causes loss of players too....

Should a team in SESL be allowed to spend more than is in its bank but then risk going into Administration at end of season?

Maybe enforce relegation or something as a penalty?

With so many team in Admin or on brink of it in Scotland, this may be a timely feature for SESL next season?

Thoughts???

That could work, but you could implemt it so that DIV 3 can only go say 500k in debt, DIv 2 1000k and then DIV 1 1500k. this wud structure it lik rangers are allowed £60 mill in debt, but Dundee only £20 mill

Is there a difference in income between the divisions? If not, then why give the big boys more credit?

Wouldn't it make the top league a close ring of 20-22 clubs?
(with the 4 relegated teams having a better chance to got promoted back immidiately), the same could make it harder for div3 clubs to get a foot hold in the 2nd div.

I am a new manager in the league , so maybe I look at the subject at hand from the wrong angle.

Gretna in real-life about to go to Administration,
and possibly cease to exist as a club soon.

Sad days for Scottish football i suppose,
but sadder still for SESL Gretna boss if the wacky rule suggestion came to pass.

Who is this/was this Gaberelli with suggestions? Sounds like a girl?

Gretna have indeed GONE from real life Scottish football.

Maybe the team name in SESL could be replaced given Gretna“s real life existence was only a handful of seasons (I think) in the professional leagues.

While not much history lost in real life, wonder how SESL history would be affected as the team history records seem quite stable now.
Food for thought perhaps.
