Just thought i'd take a bit of time out (now the boys asleep and the missus is at bingo!
) to make an apology for my absence. I can't get on the blog just yet so i thought i'd write it here.
I've had a few NMR's this season which is out of the ordinary. I can give reasons as to why but it'll just sound like excuses so i'll leave it at that. I don't intend to neglect my position in this league, i've just had a few weeks where things have happened or i have just not paid attention to deadlines/getting lineups in well before deadline etc. Damn, that sounds like an excuse!
I've been with SESL for many years now and fully appreciate the time and effort it takes to run a league like this (for free!) after running my own, so for someone to be "inactive" can make things seem pointless.
So, to all, i apologise for not being active enough, and i will be making more of an effort in the future.
Also, whilst i'm here, AI have made a few trade offers lately. These haven't been from me so if you e-mail me and get a "huh?????" reply, that'll be why!
I've also been talking to the commish, and after stopping and thinking about it i made a few "not-quite-full on-demands" that i feel now maybe i shouldn't have done. So, if you get any specific e-mails to you from the commish concering Airdrie, it'll be my fault, so don't blame Mark, blame me!
