Alan Hutton to transfer from Glasgow Rangers to Tottenham today for £8m + £2 million in possible future fees.

Think he is still quite young, and with only 5 or 6 international caps for Scotland, this seems alot of money.

Time will tell if he proves value for money.

I think Rangers were more keen on this transfer than Mutton.
He's young and has potenial, but he seems to be having a Lee Naylor of last season, season. Wether he can find the consistancy is the £9 million question?????

Hutton strolled thru his first match with Spurs,
and had his defensive colleagues been as good as him they would have beaten Man Utd 1-0 but for Dawson defensive lapse in injury time gifting Man Utd a goal.

Think that was only Huttons 3rd match today for Spurs and a Wembley cup final and winners medal already.
