For the remaining auctions this season (auctions 5 thru 8) I was thinking of having deadline Sunday noon. And at 2 week intervals now.

This will give teams winning players the chance to add new recruits for the upcoming matches.

Any thoughts of whether auction players so far are too old, too young, too high a SL, etc?

Sounds like a good idea to me, Auction items seem to be about the right level too, maybe add the odd "star" maybe an idea. My only problem is they have all been too bloody expensive!!!!

Sunday is fine for me.

But I'd prefer to stick with 1 per week as I think mid-season is just 5 weeks away anyway and my auction tactics have been to assume there was going to be 1 per week.

Otherwise I would have bid more for players I wanted instead of waiting to get a players later and having the time to train them (I'm after two apprentices and can't wait till auction 8 if it's going to be 8 weeks away).

I have noticed players are higher SL and younger than last year but haven't decided if this is a good thing or not.

Probably best not to shift the frequency until next seson. Either day is fine.

Trade window closes Wednesday 1 November.

The timing of the last auction (AFTER mid season ageing) means this could see very HIGH bids on all the good players available.

Auctions on a Sunday have worked well. Brings managers back online to web page 24 hours after matches ran for more excitement.

HEA have been lucky picking up 4 auction picks this season. We are now out of money with just 32k in the bank, so we can only watch from the sidelines
as someone is going to pick up a topper of a player in auction 8 - the 4/28 DF will walk in to any of the 48 sesl teams.

I've also spent quite a lot on auctions picking up two age 0 and two 2/19 players.

I expect to have around 750k to bid on the 4/28 though.

I would like to see more auctions during the season (later in the season)
or have the auctions spread out over a longer part of the season.

Auctions on a Sunday have worked well, and glad that appears to be road taken for season ahead (Auction 1 is on a Sunday).

Auctions will run for 8 consecutive Sundays until mid season point (around Easter time)

There will be 2 additional auctions after mid season aging.

There will be fewer age 1 players on offer due to every team getting a Bosman age 1.
