Avators are great, don't get me wrong, but if you have a 150x150 pic, then it make all your posts massive, even if you have only written one line?

Maybe look into signatures of a smaller but wider size????

SRG- 01-11-2004
well, i understand your point... but making the pic smaller as it was default (64x64), was too small and pics canīt be seen clearly.
Putting something big enough to see the pic well but less than 150x150 wonīt make too much difference in the size of the post, so i donīt know if itīs worthy to reduce the size.
Iīm going to try different sizes and see how it goes.

Thereīs another option: signature pics. If you put the bigger pic in your sig and just an smaller one in your avatar, then the size is reduced for one lined replies, but it is increased for longer posts. So the problem is the same but in different way. And signature pics are more difficult to put and upload.

Seems alot of avators no longer work.

Do links need updated maybe by managers?

Mine's is fine!!!

Is it just me or are the photos missing too???????

SRG- 05-01-2004
yup, all the avatars and photos that were uploaded are gone mad.gif (the ones that are linked from other places should still work)

Itīs that the "Great Admins" put the database back to its original state as there was a big messup with the smilies (that were shared by all the forums instead of each one having itīs own databse for smilies, so there was people that uploaded smilies and overwrite other smilies).

I was expecting that the admins were going to be able to restore the avatars and the photos, but it looks that no (this was made some time ago and it should be done now if they were going to do it)... so everybody is going to need to update the photo and the avatar.

Good to see so many of the avators back working.

Public thanks to Sergio for setting this forum up. Sure has been a success.

Long may it continue.

Gabbarelli- 06-02-2004
Yes Sergio you may well be insane, but at least you can set up a decent forum!

Shame that too - there is a certain poster on here that seems to prefer another forum ohmy.gif biggrin.gif

My avator on left of INV team crest now fixed.

Thanks Sergio.

My avator on left of screen of team crest now fixed too.

Should teams get 1 TP for having an avator of their club badge at start of next season?

Bit pointless giving a TP away to people who already have badge as avatar.

However, perhaps offering a TP to those who currently don't have badge as their avatar, in order to entice them to switch, may be worthwhile, I know I would do it for a TP.
