Yes, I'm up for BENFICA challenge in FM2007.

Manuel Fernandes is there and a great young midfielder.

Plus DC Anderson and Simao who is top drawer also.

I've missed the last couple so I think its about time I had a crack at a challenge, count me in.

Still scouring transfer market for Brazilian wonderkids.....

but my starting 11 for Benfica is:

Nelson - Luisao - Rocha - Miguelito
Petit
Rodriguez - Costa - Adu
Cardoza - Gomes

Well 1 season down and i've won the league! Managed to make the cup final too but Porto beat me on pens. Rubbish in the Champions League though, finished bottom of a group with Man Utd, Galataseray and Ajax so not even a Uefa Cup run either!

Best signings so far have been Matuzalem (DM) on loan, Palacio (FW), Adu (AML) and Lucas (DM).

I will give this challenge a shot then.

I see FM2008 is out Oct 26th, so this Benfica challenge can keep me occupied until the new release.
