Who Are The Best Premiership Signings This Summer?

maybe?
Edwin Var Der Sar - lost just 1 goals so far
Darren Bent - hit 5 goals in 4 games so far
Del Horno - defends well and gets forward well

Alo Boss- 09-16-2005
Pepe Reina's only let 1 in too, and behind our defense thats not bad!

My list was just a starter!

How about Andy Cole for value for money?

Benayoun at West Ham perhaps?

Essien looks a class act at Chelsea, but is he worth the huge transfer fee?

Hleb at Arsenal puts in a good shift and will become a key player as the season progresses.

Newcastle's Scott Parker is a solid signing in a key area of the pitch.

Spurs Edgar Davids also may prove to be a shred free transfer.

On current form it has to be Darren Bent. However he has been scoring against poor teams like Sunderland and Wigan.
Too early to judge if he is a class act.

My vote is going with Edwin Var Der Sar at Manchester United as the Best Premiership Signing This Summer.

Owen?

Certainly looking like a 'bargain' at the minute. I'm still amazed no-one else wanted him...

...especially when you consider he was so desperate to go back to Liverpool. Is Peter Crouch providing value for money in contrast to Owens signing? SESL/tongueout.gif

No Hleb at Arsenal has done little to show he will become a key player as the season progresses.

Best signing has to be Bent so far with his goals.

Gabbarelli- 10-06-2005
Benayoun at West Ham?

Benayoun at West Ham?

Be afraid. Div 2 basher Gabbarelli is sounding like Elgin now!

maybe NOT
Edwin Var Der Sar, anymore! SESL/sunshine.gif

A couple of months on,
and every player listed on this thread has turned out fairly mince now!

Time... time changes everything!

Andy Cole, Benayoun, Essien, Hleb and even Var Der Sar not worked out too well after great early season form.
