Keep it exactly as it is. The rule is supposed to reward excellent performances and should have to be earned and not end up a given. We sit 2nd top of Division 1 and I've only had 1 bonus all season so I'd say there's still some challenge involved.

I prefer to have the rule remain as it is. Having to nominate a age 5+ player rather than a younger player means the player chosen for the position is a veteran (as most captains are) thus the other players can regard him as a model and leader due to his long experience and maturity. Another reason to keep things in the current state is that - from the game play point - age 5 players are most likely to be on average or low skill and thus their bonus adds to the team as a all - which is what being a captain is all about - rather than age 4 or 3 players which could thus become major individual star players.

Agree with Yoav here, even though I don't think I'll have any age 5 players next season.

DROP IT The Top teams get enough Bonuses already! Its not realistic : A real football team captain does improve skill wise just because his team won by 3 goals or more! John Terry would be Super human by now if they did ! GET REAL SESL !

Its still a good way to push for exciting football. at 2-0 a lot of people cant decide whether to stall for the win or push for the 3rd, opening the game up!

Maybe reduce goals by 1 so Captain Bonus for a +2 win?
The top teams will still get the 10PU anyway, but this would open it up for the smaller teams will have a better chance of getting a Captains Bonus.

Definitely make it easier for the weaker teams to get a few captains bonuses in the year.
Though scoring two goals in a game seems a distant memory for me at the moment.
