Guys

I know some of you play championship manager but im unsure if you play it online in a network game. Me and a couple of mates are looking to get a online game going but being truthful none of us really have a clue what to do, so im just wondering if any of you nice guys could give me a point in the right direction, posting on here is good as other managers will get the information as well.

Network CM is supposed to be great, but can be S-L-O-W ! You need to wait while each manager plays his game and makes transfer offers etc.

If you have unlimited internet access and broadband then great, but I am still Pay As You Go surf so could not play sadly.

It must take AAAAAAGGGGEEEESSSSS to play a game.

I myself take a long time between games searching for talent, so if you have 3, 4 or 5 managers doing the same, it would take like a season to play a season!!!!!!

I think broadband is a definite must.

Agree it must take hours.

I used to have a game me and 3 mates had running on a Sunday afternoon (excuse for a few beers), not on the net, but just all taking turns on the PC, played it for about 4-5 hours a session, over 8 weeks, and only got to New Year in the first season - dropped it, as it took so long.

Idea is appealing, but in reality it must be a long slog....

the way i see it with broandband it wouldnt be too slow, then with added extra of 5 minute limit on playing time it shouldnt be too slow.
