From GM press:
"I would just like to mention the live auction again as I thought it was a resounding success
- I hope that no-one's tea was burned in the process!

What is that all about ???

Well, during the auction in the sesl chat room, a number of meals seemed to be in the process of being prepared/cooked. Given the amount of excitement and nervous energy that a live auction generates I was concerned some of these meals may not have turned out as well as intended.

Perhaps some of these chefs can reveal to the forum how successful their dinners were?
I know mine tasted particularly sweet after securing that 2/15 MF. SESL/goodluckicon.gif

In the middle of it all I managed to prepare roast Lamb studded with garlic and rosemary, roast potatoes and assorted green stuff, which other managers were kindly reminding me not to burn...

I have to say that it was lovely yummmm, and was a fitting end to a well run auction. Same again next time?

PS, live cup draws have over ran and seen managers dinners burnt also.
oh the sacrifices of a sesl manager!

This was an amusing sub context to the auction itself, as managers sat on edge of seats awaiting the return of Clive from the kitchen with an update noted in chat room on his dinner!

Clive later confirmed his lamb had been "seasoned. Not by adding 2 SL, but by garlic and rosemary. No photos of "Rosemary" were made available at the time!

So whose dinner will be burnt at the CECIL Cup Draw on August 5th, 2007?

(see sesl front page web site for what I am talking about!)
