SESL Div 1 is the elite.

2 managers from RAN, HIB, LIV, INV & PT are under fire,
and WILL be fired at end of season for under performing. SESL/abigcry.gif

When the club CHAIRMEN see ABE do so well (AGAIN) and STE in the top 5, and QOS and GRE in top half of table, then question marks must hang over RAN, HIB, LIV, INV & PT as to why they have performed so badly this season.

Watch this space.....

Whilst relegation is never easy for a chairman to take, circumstances have occured at each of these clubs to put them in a bad position.

I for one, will accept the decision of the board of Partick Thistle if they decide to make a change, but in the mean time I will concentrate on trying to avoid automatic drop and get into the playoffs.

Though going from winning the league to dropping down a division can't be good sign about the management of a club.

You'd also have to question the sanity of prioritising a cup run over league survival that was choosen by a certain manager, whose sanity has been questioined before.

**Rangers Press Statement**

We would like to thank the chairman for taking some of the pressure of our players heading into these two (hopefully three) very important games for the club. The fact the pressure is now on my shoulders is something i welcome.

Although we are still hopeful of avoiding relegation fate seems to be against us this season.

If we go down and the board/fans/fellow managers feel it is mainly my doing then I will accept my fate and walk away.

**End of press statement**

Mr Chairman, Livingston would like to point out the blatant favouritism of referee Neil "I love Hearts" Barry in our game against Champions elect aforementioned Hearts. Now Barry is described as a strict / homer, yet hearts play two aggressive players against Livingston's one and yet Livingston have two normal players sent off one in the 13th minute, thus dooming us to relegation. We have two players suspended for the penultimate game of the season and thus our spirited fight is to no avail.

So SESL/Moonie.gif to Neil Barry and I suggest the Chairman takes a good look as his officials before brandishing the axe.

**** HIBS MANAGER STANDS STRONG ****

Its believed that Hibs Manager MR Peter Babcock has send the Chairman a letter containing some strong words.

Its believe this letter was in response to the Chairman making a public announcement that HIBS manager could be fired should results this weekend not go the way of the HIBS, Its believe that the HIBS Fans have stood in support of the Manager and have threaten violence should the SESL Chairman fire the Manager.

Under the leadership of Me Babcock HIBS have had a great run of form in the last 3 seasons winning 2 SESL cups but this season HIBS have had nothing but back luck (or OLD FIRM interference as Hibs Manager Peter Babcock puts it)

Parts of this Letter leak to the press states that should MR Babcock be fire he would take legal action against the SESL FA to keep his contact in tack and keep him manager of Hibs for at least the next 3 seasons. Its also believe he will ask the FIFA to investigate the SESL Chairman and the relationship he has with the SESL Refs and Certain managers.

Mr Babcock has make it known that his is unimpressed that the SESL Chairman have links (Share options ) in the OLD FIRM clubs and this season hibs has had so many ref decision go against them and Mr Babcock put this down to the Chairman seeking revenge for Mr Babcock comments in the past, You only have to look at how we lost the title 2 seasons ago to Celtic !!!

What does the HIBS board say about the clubs current position in Div 2 after Mr Babcock failed to keep HIBS in Div 1 last year?

Otig71- 08-21-2007
They would say...

" Pot to Kettle, come in?"

Na, thats rubbish, they'd say...

"Keep out of the black and in the red, nothing in this game for 2 in a bed..."

Nope, hang on... I've got it...

"It's okay, Ross County are pure Magic, so getting knocked out of the CECIL Cup to the team everyone else wants to meet in the next round is no shame wacko.gif "

...but Saturday, 25th August, at home to Morton and then away to Buckie Thistle...
Come on, surely the Hibbies can get a point on Saturday!?

..if not... hammer to fall... SESL/slapfish.gif

Hearts- 08-27-2007
Saturday, 25th August, at home to Morton and then away to Buckie Thistle...
yes, folks, Hibbies got a point on Saturday!

Our Edinburgh rivals earned a thrilling 0-0 draw. Peter proud?

HIV Chairman is shuffling in his big chair, so can't be long now until hammer/axe falls.
Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock

If HIB do get the chop (now struggling in Div 2 , after struggling in Div 1 last season)
can I put my name in the hat to take them over?

Sorry if this seems cheeky, but maybe it will spur the HIB boss on now!?

David HAM King- 10-15-2007
You're sitting at the bottom of Division 1 on 8 points with a side who's T11 and T17 rate them at 12th and 8th respectively, against the rest of your division, which should see you in about 10th place.
I can't imagine they'll be falling over themselves to appoint you.

Mind you, at this rate, and given your current league position, you'll probably be available to take the job.
:-)

Hibernian- 11-30-2007
It just took time but Hibs will be back in Div1 !!!

No need to managers to que up - oh wait they fired me even after i took them back to div1 and built a great youth team !! ph34r.gif

HIBs average age is 3.11! (GM are 1.89 SESL/yay.gif )
HIBs are the 31st oldest in SESL and no-one to Train next season! SESL/eek.gif

The Real HIBs have an excellent youth policy... SELL,SELL,SELL

Saint Mirren- 11-30-2007
While HIB may not be the most youthful,

as Alan Hansen famously gaffed about Manchester United in the 1990's
"you don't win anything with youth"

Football is result focused however, and Peter at HIB only had narrow defeat to HUN and GM since the sesl group stages.

Peter has turned HIB around,
and must be a front runner for the vacant HEA job. wub.gif

SAINTMANDAVE- 11-30-2007
You mean they haven't offered you the Hibbie job yet Jackie? SESL/purple_smile.png
Go on Go onGo on Go on Go on you know you want it! wub.gif
The Hibbie job Imean of course! SESL/say_nowt.png

Steve Turner- 11-30-2007
After 8 league matches, Hibernian were equal bottom on 5 points with Hamilton and Berwick. They now have 19 more than the former and 22 more than the latter. If it wasn't for Morton's easy winning of the Division and Livingston's League and Cup exploits, Peter could well have been favourite for manager of the season.
