It's all about SL. I play a lot of 4-2-4 Early Cross so that will be my starting line-up. I could pick the Golden Gloves 1 and 2, but a lot of that is down to who you face, when the SL was added, etc - and I have enough Deveronvale players in the team anyway.

Ramirez has a better save percentage than Black, though neither particularly good.
Not many SL 29 DF or MF to choose from. Thomas is DM so preferred for his shooting ability. Raybould over Dawson based on MoM awards.
Donachie and Koudou both MA but Donachie has scored more goals. I picked Barkay at SL 29 rather than Weatherston (SL 28 WG) for versatility.
I have 5 players who can play FW and 5 who can play MF so all formations possible.
All star side - 1 player from each team.
This is difficult with so many team's best players being their GK. I need a good defence so McWilliam of DEV is a natural choice - this means that to get the best players on the pitch, early cross has to be dropped as there aren't enough good WGs outside Banff. Unfortunately so does Murray. The toughest choice was the COW player, and if I picked Rodgers (SL 32) I would have to either have an SL 26 MF in a 4-3-3 or play 4-2-4 longball. So I chose COW's SL 29 MA to play 4-3-3

Thomas does not appear on list one from CLY, and Thomson is listed as DF on list 2. He is MF? Why not take Raybould?
I had Thomas written down in the morning and in the first post, but when going back through the teams in the evening I saw a Thomson and thought I'd misread my notes and edited.
