Feb 2005: Nottm Forest in English Championship.

Transfer budget is 300k initially

Going to be fairly tough, but promotion to Premiership possible in a few seasons

Can only sign Basques - therefore quite a challenge.

Not really had time to play it plus my version of FM05 seems to be riddled with bugs - well the three games I've got going, both into second season seems to have some bugs, anyone else experience there problems? Will the patch fix these?

No bugs in FM05 that I have found.

Can you list exactly what bugs are causing you problems ELG?

Yeah, they should be fixed, although new ones may arise. IN which case there'll be a newer patch to fix that.

I'm in December and sit 8th in table. Fairly settled side but need a goalscorer and thinking of Lee Miller who seems to be scoring an average 2 in 3 games.

OK Someone explain to me the rules of these challenges and I'll have a go at the February one.

Do you start a new season, then take Nottm Forest as far as you can (ie if you have time to play 25 hours a day, 8 days a week thats fine)?

Or is it how far can you take them in X seasons?

Do you do screen dumps to verify details?

Beardy Bloke, no real rules as such.

Just start a new game, as Forest boss, then report back on here at intervals, or at end of season saying how you got on, good signings, achievements, duffers in team etc.

Guess if you win the title or cup you could pop a screen dump up here if you want to show off! But I think most will take your word on it!
