The bugs in Championship Manager will be a big factor. I've been annoyed with bugs in the previous 2 CM games and hopefully this one will be bug free.
I'm more for FM at the moment but that can change if CM pull something out of the hat.

Says FM05 runs 45% faster than CM4! That is good enough for me!
order at www.play.com for just £17.99 with free delivery
What is FM05 you ask? "Sports Interactive have crafted a superbly detailed masterpiece in Football Manager 2005. With over 10 years of football management gaming experience behind them and over 2500 researchers in the field, no-one offers a greater insight into the real world of football. FM05 out today folks.
I was chatting on MSN to sesl managers last night and was told the commishioner and Airderie Boss Kev Hull were both actually in the CM4 pc game? Is that true? How is that!

Have ordered FM05 from Play.com aswell.
This one better be good Commish!!!
Yes, John Craven, the Commish was a researcher for it, and plugged those two clowns into an otherwise legendary game.... pity that version was IMO the downfall of the CM series...
Hope these new versions are more playeable like CM 01/02 was.....

My girlfriend gets her hands on my copy...

I must admit that this is entirely true.
Mr Commish managed to squeeze me and himself into the Albion Rovers side.
Nowt to worry about though.....................i was crap!

Seems a good game to me.
Great seeing all the moves you can do in open play.
Fast enough, and plenty to tinker with.

Are you talking about playing Twister game with your girlfriend here?
Nillis- 11-10-2004
I'm not very big on FM, or CM, but I really like TCM, or Total Club Manager. I've bought all of that series, apart from the new 2005 game, since it's started. I've always liked that over CM and now FM.

Just finished my first season of FM. You sure need to take your time with team tactics and formations, but I like that.
Man City devied the odds and beat relegation. In fact, we finished 8th and the Board are delighted.
Roll on the Inter Toto cup (called the 'Euro Vase' for some odd reason)

Now with AZ Alkmar in Netherlands.
We should have a big FM Challenge where we go the same team and have restrictions on transfers maybe and compare who does best and who gets the most out of the squad players etc. Maybe during the holidays at Christmas time?

Good shout commish.
I'm up for a bit of that - got two weeks of at Xmas so plenty of time to kill whilst tucking into Turkey sandwiches!
