I'm playing it at the moment. Always liked the GTA series and this one doesn't disappoint!

Anyone else playing it?

Hints and Tips? Progress so far?

This game was featured on ITV's Trevor McDonald last week.

Says it is an 18 certificate, too violent and should be banned?

It looked quite good though!

Certificate? Violence? NONSENSE! I've played EVERY GTA game, apart from this one, and for thise who know me well enough would realise that i'm too young for it!!! Apparently SESL/wink.gif

I've been after this game for ages, unfortunately having a paper-round as your only source of income doesn't quite give you as much money as one would have liked SESL/awall.gif

I did see the Trevor McDonald documentary, but it's all bollocks!

Has anyone tried to ban Tom and Jerry or Itchy and Scratchy yet? Sure, in GTA you can shoot and knife people, but why has strapping explosives onto a cat or slicing them into many pieces with a meat slicer ever been asked to be banned?

And don't get me started on Wily E.Coyote............... SESL/tongueout.gif

I need a new game for my PS2.

Is this GTA game worth putting in my letter to Santa? Does it not get boring after a while?

Thinking about getting Fifa 2005 also.
Anyone played that?

My 11 year old son has Fifa 2005 and he reckons its SESL/cool.gif - although i can't see much difference from 2000, 2001, 2002, 200... you get the drift.

He has also asked for the new GTA and to be quite honest I usually ignore the ratings on games - does this make a bad parent? (maybe time will tell if he grows up to be a mad axe murderer I suppose I was in the wrong!!!)

Don't be ridiculous! My parents let me have GTA 1, 2 and Vice City! And i'm not a thilthy minded child! F**K no! SESL/cool.gif

And, about FIFA, we don't play FIFA, we play Pro Evolution Soccer! I've been told by many 'FIFA lovers' that Pro Evo 4 is much betta then the new FIFA. So I recommend Pro Evo SESL/sunshine.gif

It does not get boring writing letters to Santa, no.
Although when you grow up you may find out Santa is not who you thought.
Then it might get boring. SESL/abigcry.gif

Is that what you meant Craig !! SESL/tongueout.gif

I might have to have a rethink about my policy of allowing my kids whatever games they want and maybe get them some educational software instead? I'm pretty worried that they turn out "thilthy minded" - it's worrying how the younger generation's standards to communicate articulately and effectively using accurate spelling and proper grammar are dropping so alarmingly!

Wen I left skool my spelin wos exselant and my english teacha was always complemintin me on being good at my gramma and all that.

Athltgouh i bilveie taht it dseont rllaey metatr taht mcuh as we all mganae to fgriue out waht we are tynirg to say awyany! Its scitanllicfecy peovrn!

I got wrong off my wife last year. My son asked for a bmx game for his ps2. Wasn't till he was playing it with his grandad and grandma on boxing day that we realised it was bmx xxx - the better he got at the game the more of a strip show video he got to see. Although at least his grandad is taking a healthier(!) interest in computer games now!

And to be honest i enjoy playing vice city with him - see, good family values as dad and son take turns to pinch cars and beat people up!!!
Is San Andreas different enough to vice city warrant as a stocking filler?

Nillis- 11-27-2004
I don't really think you should worry about it that much Les, most young people but mainly teenagers, are already filled with naughty words, it's just the way that times have changed. If your son didn't play these kind of games I bet he'd still be rude and bad mouthed because everyone says it my age!!

And all you've got to do is look at the back of the game case to see what's in it!! Give the blurb a little read and you'll have an idea of what the game's like! Sorted!
