Effective immediately, American Justin Caratzas will be the caretaker manager for the Gretna Football Club. This after several minutes of negotiations followed by several days of trying to convince the american that in every other part of the world, football is actually soccer. "The Atlanta Falcons are my favorite football team." said the confused manager.

"I still don't get the why you all call the field a 'pitch'" says Caratzas.

Justin Caratzas was in Scotland on vacation when, in an absurd error in currency judgement, it became impossible to travel back home.

"I heard that after a fruitless search of local talent, the Gretna board just decided to hire the next man to walk through the front door." says local bartender, Lars.

Ironically, looking for the exact same pub Lars tends to, Justin mistakenly walked into the headquarters of Gretna, ordered a beer, and began to acost some of the board members by making obsene jokes. Keeping true to their word, he was hired as the caretaker while the current manager recovers from the wounds afflicted by hooligans following a recent Gretna win.

"My first order of business is to understand this offsides nonsense" exclaimed Caratzas. This should be a couple of interesting months indeed.
