i am just thinking about it.

What will happen to SESL Gretna when the RL Gretna is forced to quit as a football club. Will the team be renamed?

The last time a rename took place waas about 11 seasons ago.

Clydebank no longer exist for real but I don't think we'll be losing them from SESL.

I read today that GALA may be taking over GRETNA in real life.

If true, might be to rebrand GRETNA as GALA, as afterall I read (in SESL rules or elsewhere) that Gala Fairydean used to be in sesl, so a bit of history there for SESL to rekindle perhaps.

You could try. But there'd be one mighty pissed off 5'7" Scotsman looking to do some damage......

Though strictly speaking Clydebank do exist, just not as a senior team. They play in the Scottish Junior professional leagues.

I am considering dropping Gretna from SESL, and bringing in the new real life team that wins vote to join Scottish league when they vote in early July.

The timing is Gretna manager in SESL is stepping down, so seems a good time to rebrand the team to match real life.

Anyone got strong views one way or other - speak up now.

Im assuming the bearded one is a Clydebank fan so keeping them in the game makes sense, and if the manager taking over Gretna is not a Gretna fan then perhaps it is the right decision to boot them out so to speak and be rebranded as the new SFL team.

Bookies favourite is Spartans i think, personally i think it should be Cove - they were the only team to win their league this season. But having played on their pitch i can tell you that it is not up to any sort of SFL standard as it is on the very short side.
