I have a request to make. I would like to gather up a list of players that have played in the Scottish league through the years. I know of a few players myself, but it will be interesting to see what players will appear in your lists. I know that this will not be 100% accurate, but I will take what your memory comes up with.

Siggi Jonsson joined Dundee Utd in 1997 and made over 50 appearances.

Arnar Gunnlaugsson played for Dundee Utd also.

Teddy Bjarnasson - Celtic

Gunni Torfasson - St Johnstone & St Mirren

Hreinn 'Turbo' Hringsson played for St Mirren, East Stirling and Thistle.
Still playing back home for KA I think.

Hjalmar Thoranrinson - Hearts and Raith Rovers


think Greenock Morton used to bring over a few Scandanavians, but I dont know their names.

Oli Gottskalkson former Hibs and Brentford keeper.

Gardar Gunnlaugsson - 2005/06, played for Dunfermline and was said to be a top goalscorer (and was in Iceland) but lasted just 20 mins at Easter Road and looked incredibly off the pace.
The ladies like him though and his wife was cracking!
