Great challenge this, but I fear Premiership could be one heck of a struggle next season.

Well I'm up into the Premiership, only just mind. After a really poor start to the season where relegation was looking more of a possibility than promotion things turned around somewhat and i ended up finishing 3rd and getting up via the playoffs beating Reading and Leicester along the way. Largely uninspiring cup runs saw me to the 3rd round of the FA cup and the 4th round of the league cup.

My transfer policy was that of cheap and cheerful and with bags of experience so i ended up with Youri Djorkaeff from some US team for peanuts at the start of the season and Graham Alexander from Preston for 100K in January.

Sheez you guys are flying through this.

I am only at start of November.

Sitting 2nd in league, 3pts behind Crystal Palace.

On a good league cup run, knocked out Man City in Round 2, with a 3-1 win at home, followed by KO'ing another Premiership team Sunderland on pens after a 0-0 draw. Round 5 looks tough - Arsenal at Highbury - do they play their reserves in FM like they do in real life for the League Cup???

I beat Arsenal at Highbury!

Birsa and Miller's first half goals led us to a 2-1 victory, sweated for a bit after a Pires pen got Arsenal back into it.

Boro at the Riverside in the q/finals - 4 PREM teams in a row is a bit unfair!

Won the Championship with Wolves.

Just got started with season 2 here, signings are Boumsong to try and sure up the defence and Srna to try and add some attacking flair down the wings. Started at home to Everton and got beaten 1-0 then it was off to Manure where in typical fashion 2-0 up going in to injury time the ref forgets he's in charge and not Ferguson and 2 goals later its 2-2 and times up!! quite life like this game ey?

Romped home by winning the title, 9 pts clear of 2nd spot.

Birsa, Cort and Miller all scoring over 15 goals each.

Prem here we come.

Season 2 - Christmas time

My Wolves sitting 11th in Premiership so quite happy with that.
Best I can do is draw when playing away from home though.

Well I've finished season 2.

Signings were Srna and Boumsong as previously mentioned

Managed to make the league cup semi, fa cup 6th round and fought bravely against relegation as required by the board/fans and finished 12th in the prem. Just going through pre season now and i need to think carefully about signings for the 3rd season of the challenge.

Started a new game as Wolves in Football Manager but only played a dozen games and going nowhere very fast.
Any point me continuing to play as Wolves as this is a "January" challenge?
