As for the UK concert:-

the crowd at Hyde Park was a little muted.
Philadelphia seemed a better party, but they had Beyonce in a mini skirt.....

UK best bits - U2, Sting, Robbie Williams, Madonna
UK ok bits - Coldplay, Who, Floyd,
UK poor bits - Elton John and Pete Docherty - as Annie Lennox sings "WHY?"

comedians - its RIP to Ricky Gervais who 'died' on stage.....
but Peter Kay got a better reaction and telling the sound guys to f*** off when he had a chorus of Amarillo going was great!

its now on to Edinburgha nd Gleneagles this week.....
will the G8 take notice?

Robbie Williams is a great showman and entertainer. Robbie should have closed the show. Instead Floyd and Who just went on and on, but maybe the older viewer enjoyed them?

Meanwhile Dido, Joss Stone and Mariah Carey looked nice, but good time to change baby nappy when they were on!

I didn't see it all but thought Dido was pretty good. Also liked U2 and Sting but too many others were 'dull'.

Not sure who the band were with Slash (or Slash lookalike) on Guitar but I thought they were pretty good too.

So Mark - did you march on Edinburgh?
