Teams are in alphabetical order. Use whatever criteria you wish to make your choice. I posted starting T11, resources and cash on the Blog (May 17th) and you can check the cup tables as well as the final league position.

All managers from all three divisions are eligible to vote.

I predicted Division Three quite well in my update at the end of January. I got 4 of the 6 teams right that would pick up 1/16 Bosmans. Albion Rovers and Dundee FC being the ones that did better.

I got 4 of the top 5 right, Berwick being the failure.

If Dundee had made it to the play-offs I would probably have voted for Ashley, but in the end went for the Division champions.

Shame Dan, pipped at the post, but a superb effort from COW players and manager Alan, certainly a great managerial performance!

After inital trading COW had the best team, so I'm not going for them.
HUN started out with the 2nd team but traded away older high SL players for younger players and resources. also trained up apprentices and still got promoted.

So I'm giving the first season coach my vote for Div 3

Steve_HUN- 05-26-2008
thanks brian means alot getting praise from a good manager. Feel that COW are the easy bet for the manager of year and very possibly deserve to win it as champions but i personally feel that stewart at AI did a really good job, also George at FOR deserve credit but missing out on auto promotion means im giving vote to stew, dont really understand why people are voting for teams in 15th and 16th positions tho :S

Has this poll been hacked??? biggrin.gif

Seriously, how can a manager who didn't win a league game until match 42 be getting votes here?

Nothing personal Rudi, I'm just curious at the thinking behind the votes.......

.....and of course have a vested interest. tongue.gif

Steve Turner- 05-30-2008
I must admit I'm baffled myself. It's manager of the season not manger of the month.

mjdk- 05-31-2008
I know i voted for Rudi, because he managed to get of the last place. That was a tough job, also have to admit that STI was throwing the towel.

Richard B- 05-31-2008
It is baffling that people are voting for Rudi(no offence) but i can kind of see why, as BRE have a poor side and yet managed to avoid the wooden spoon despite occupying last place for soo long.

Still curious as to who voted for me. If anything we underachieved.

Also surprised the bearded one has received no votes as we did well with not one of the best sides in the league and has his team poised for promotion next season.

SSSSHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I was hoping they wouldnt notice that

SAINTMANDAVE- 06-01-2008
Never Mind who voted fopr BRECHIN ! SESL/confused.gif
Some MUPPETT has voted for 'throw the towel in' RENE @ STIRLING! wacko.gif SESL/eek.gif
Personally I voted for Steve at Huntly for the same reasons as Brian above!
Primarily because of his trading acumen which I respect for obvious reasons cool.gif
