Injuries to all but one of my main strikers - and i haven't even got to the season start yet. Offer made for out of contract SC Patrick Mbomba, GK Chilavert is awaiting decision on work permit after joining on a free, DC Ernest Faber also snatched on a free from PSV. Pre Season results so far:

3-0 away win vs. Dag & Red
3-1 away win vs. Doncaster
2-0 away defeat vs. Bradford
2-0 away win vs. Woking

Pre-Season games yet to come:

Televised home game vs. Porto
home game vs. Crystal Palace

Also forget to mention that I brought up 17 year old Danny Shaw from the reserves in Midfield. Looks to be a huge talent and one for the Premiership next season SESL/tongueout.gif

Alloa- 05-14-2005
Anyone got promoted yet with West Ham?

Nillis- 05-14-2005
It seems i'm the only active player at the moment SESL/wink.gif

And I haven't even got to the real season yet SESL/tongueout.gif

I have now! Chose to play Jimmy Walker for first 3 games of the season because Bywater had a couple of shockers towards the end of pre-season. In those 3 games we lost 3-1 (Reading A), 2-1 (Ipswich A) and drew 2-2 (QPR H I think). Then I put in Bywater, and we win 2-0!

well done on promotion

any top signings for new season in premiership ?

Craig- 05-15-2005
I shall press on with my game now.
Just a month in to season so far.

Erm, who got promoted?

I have now realised that I SUCK at this game. Only won one more time since the last update, couple of draws, few rows with other managers in the press (Isn't that fun!) and i'm still in the bottom half of the table. Not that long into September though, so a long way to go yet!

SeslDotNet- 05-15-2005
I have made it to January and sit 4th in the table.

The amount of injuries are ridiculous. I have one fit FW to choose from most weeks.

I know Nilis brought up 17 year old Danny Shaw from the reserves in Midfield but Shaw is mince for me. Instead, I brought Mark Noble from U18s into 1st team and he is averaging 7.5 as a MC from a handful of games so far.
Looks to be a huge talent and one for the Premiership next season! SESL/sunshine.gif

I'm up!
Promoted, along with Leicester and Nottm Forest.

W30 D9 L7

only given 5.5m for next season, but I am assuming tv money will boost transfer funds soon. have 5 England U21's joining to boost my reserves and back-up to 1st team.

Alo Boss- 05-18-2005
Yeah i'm up too. As Champions as well! Very similar record to Mr Commish really:-

W31 D7 L8

No major signings as yet, just oldies on frees really. Have to make a couple before the new season starts tho i think.

Craig- 05-19-2005
Anyone know rough transfer budget in Premiership?

In Championship Manager 4 you got 12M for being promoted from tv money, plus anymore your Board may offer.

My West Ham team is still very similar to that which played on TV vs Ipswich last night which is kinda cooool to see.

Alo Boss- 05-19-2005
Well despite the club receiving £13.75m in TV money they are only giving me £1.5m to spend!!

Craig- 05-22-2005
I am heading for the playoffs now hopefully.

A little concerned at low transfer budget mentioned by ALO.

Has anyone done anything in Premiership yet? Like won 2 games in a row!
If you can hang on to most of current West Ham squad, I think you can survive in top league.

Alloa- 05-27-2005
My West Ham are Premiership bound.

Hopping to get the fat cheque book out now we are in with the big boys in England.
