Gabbarelli- 04-29-2005
any ideas???

Albion Rovers- 04-30-2005

Norwich in England?

or East Stirlingshire in Scotland - a real challenge as worst team in Scotland.

Craig- 05-02-2005
An English team for a change?

Nottingham Forrest? or
Hull City? or
West Ham? or
Bristol City?

airdrieboss- 05-02-2005

Bristol City?

I hope you're not trying to say that Bristol City aren't a good team! You'll have me and Tipps to deal with! And we're not a very nice pair to argue with SESL/wink.gif Just ask Justin Neill (SaSo)!

Queens Park- 05-03-2005
I dont have FM05 myself but a mate who does, and supports Bristol City has successfully guided them to promotion in his first season and is currently top of the Championship in his next season - doesn't sound too challenging to me!!

Don't do the budgies either - I'd hate to see any of you successful with them!

Who is this "Mate" of yours? Maybe if he can do as good a job as he claims, then we can get rid of Brian Tinnion and actually have a manager who knows what he's doing!!! We've always had a good enough team to get promoted, but we haven't had the manager to do the job!

And as for Justin Neill, he's also in love with Robbie Keane. He's obsessed. Ask Kev what he did with the "swear" filter on the SaSo forum SESL/wink.gif

Nothing decisive been posted on this thread yet it seems?

What about we all manage our SESL team in FM05 and see how we go?

I have started a game with Gretna just now.....

Hibernian- 05-06-2005
Gonna someone make a decision on FM challenge.

Gabbarelli - you pick a team (not Gretna!) and we will go with that.
Keen to start over the weekend.

SeslDotNet- 05-07-2005
OK, lets pin this down.

English Championship side. Either...

1. Leeds
2. West Ham
3. Wigan

Whatever teams gets most posts in favour by 5pm tomorrow (Sunday) is the FM Challenge for May (and June too shall we say?).

Nillis- 05-08-2005
I'll try my best to give it a go this time, but with my exams coming up it may be hard for me to find enough time to start up a meaningful game. I'll vote for Leeds

Craig- 05-08-2005
I'll go with majority, but West Ham would be my vote.

or QPR
or Ipswich

SeslDotNet- 05-08-2005
OK, lets go with WEST HAM.
For May & June so we can get a few seasons in.

Etherington, Harewood, Zamora seem a good base to start with, so potential to take West Ham to Premiership in 2 seasons with just a few key signings.

Hibernian- 05-09-2005
Shakey start with West Ham losing a few pre season games, but picking up now.

Squad pretty small. Need a GK for starters.

Etherington has asked to be transfer listed already!
