DundeeFC- 07-05-2005
Hi guys!

Took me some days to find time to check the forum, but here I am!
My name is Ivo Kroon, I am from a city in the south of Holland, called Tilburg, and I took the challenge of managing Dundee FC.
Looks like I got a great team, could have wanted some more players but the ones I got are class material.
Got this opportunity through Mike, the Dunfermline manager. He's a manager in SAEFL as well, as you will know, a very good one I have to say.
Well, I'm looking forward to enjoying this game, try to get some good results in the last couple of weeks, and see if I can manage to lift this team to an even higher level, although that will be quite a task!
In the meanwhile, I'm looking forward to playing against all you guys. I sure can use the experience.

Take care,

Ivo

Welcome to the SESL, Ivo.

Don't know what to make of your avator though???

Is it a picture suggesting what ref Poll should do with his eyes? or are you some kind of Dame Edna fan?

Good luck

Dundee avator appears to be from prog-rockers Marillion - Marbles CD.

Go Berwick!

You're through to the next round, it indeed is the Marbles logo, by Marillion. (You're a fan too?)

However, feel free to associate what it depicts with any referee as much as you like!

Didn't they have a frontman called Fish who was from Dundee or somewhere like that?

I am being dragged to a Marillion concert later this week.

Thought they had given up playing gigs long ago!

What songs should I listen out for? Any 'hit' singles?

Celtic- 11-17-2005
Marilions "Big Hit" was Kayleigh, I think

Marillion don't play Kayleigh anymore, but it is a good song.

That name never existing until the Marillion song, so you will never know a girl named "Kayleigh" that is more than 20 years old!

Thats enough of that Roberto ?whoever you are!
We don't need SESL Managers asking for a colleague to get the SAck ?
It's bad enough OVER PAID Prima Donna Footballers begging the referee to send another player off But your pathetic forum entry Scrapes the bottom of the SESL Barrel
PACK IT IN NOW!!! SESL/say_nowt.png

Calm Dave, calm.

I already exchanged emails with Ashley when I saw this forum post originally,
and I gave Ashley my support.

It might be better if Ashley posts a response rather than his Dad?

Think GRE was at the wind-up, and he went fishing for a response and you bit the fishing line and took the bait.

We have all said daft things on a forum, me included Dave.

Talking of fishing and MOT, how about this whooper?

Having just taken the reigns at Motherwell I'm interested to hear that they were once Topdogs in SESL . They will be again Bruvvers They will be Again!
Give me two seasons & I will have them back con-*test*-('")ing for the Div 1 Title
.

3 seasons on, MOT are in Div 3.

Regarding GRE manager, I suspect he was 'fishing' for a SESL job himself having just joined SESL, but he has his own work cut out to keep gretna in Div 1 I guess.

I said at the start of the season that this was going to be a tough one! Rebuilding isn't easy, especially on team morale and at the time I felt it was the only way in which i could take the club forward with a sustained transition into youth players.
Also I would appreciate it if you could look back on DEE's recent matches... how many have been lost by 1 goal... and how many of these were scored in the last 10 minutes of the game? It occurred to me a little while ago that Olmec is more about luck and morale than I first anticipated as Stewart clearly pointed out to me. Don't get me wrong the main reason for the results of late is a poor roster and lack of depth (which I intend on improving) but one would be narrow-minded to suggest that we have not been unlucky.
