[QUOTE=Gabbarelli,July 03, 2006 01:01 pm] I've just noticed that I'm member no. 100
And I'm No 6 - I am not a number!

Looks good to me also and worth a trial for a season.
only worry for me is it may favour the stronger teams
As an alternative instead of rushing through the group games in the middle of the season why not rush through the knock out stage at the end of the season. Could play a game everyday or every second day ?? get it over within a week or so.

The only problem with this, James, is that Commish has to manually put in the matches and not all managers can make it onto the site every day.
I think the SESL Cup, as it is, favours the stronger teams a little anyway as they can use the group matches to rest players and concentrate on the league. At least that's what I did the past two seasons with great effect.

depends on what the team's priority is....

Proposed schedule seems to run fairly well.
Finishes in time for Christmas as well. Which is nice.

I shall get an email out to managers on proposed schedule over the weekend, as some may be heading off on 2 weeks vacation and miss the new season orders request.

Me raring to go for new season.
Some tipping us for success, others think we will be mid table mediocracy. Somewhere in between for HEA will suit us fine in the top flight.

Found this topic, and previous chatter about SESL cup new schedule favouring the strong teams.
However I think each team has different priorities - I imagine a few teams will use the 5 sesl cup group matches to season up an apprentice or two.
