Got McManus (from Hibs I think)

GOT PROMOTED TO PREMIER LEAGUE by beating Preston and QPR in the play-offs.

Play off final VERY close. 0-0 full time. Winning 1-0 in injury time of extra time when QPR equalised

Gerrard saved two penalties to send FOREST into the PREMIER and won me the manager of the season award.

Start of Premier isn't looking too clever though. Fans have turned on me for selling Commons to Newcastle for £3.5m and don't think much of either of the players I've brought in so far.

Had to pay Johnson £40k a week to keep him - think this might be a mistake. Relegation battle ahead!!!

I'm still in August of Season 1.

Did I make a mistake by choosing "Recommended setup" and ended up running 5 leagues simultaneously with the full english league setup.

Sometimes the PC appears to take small breaks as it goes away to find an abacus do all the counting.

Maybe I should just play with the english league only?

What do folk here do for setup normally? Do each of you speed it up by only playing one or two national leagues?

Runs much quicker. Check the extra detail box too. Gives you nice little pictures of the players!

Chose English league only. Go Championship and Premiership only if you are confident not to get relegated! Sure speeds game up.

Shakey start for me. Sitting 15th in table after 2 months.

Finished season 2 in 5th, then lost to Preston North End in the first leg of the play-offs!

One good point that came out of it was that i signed Jeremie Aliadiere on a free and he scored 29 goals in the league! Off the top of my head i think it was from 35 apprearances with 4 or 5 sub as well! Top player! Highly recommended.

Got the obligatory Adu as well as Navarro from Tranmere i think.

Andre Cruz has excellent stats but is pretty much naff!

Kris Commons has got fans player of the year twice in a row, which is a shame as Andy Reid is good too, but he had to go!

Another recommendation would be Lenny Pidgeley from Chelsea.

OH! NEARLY FORGOT! Highly recommended is Jimmy Smith from Chelsea. Young and will be out of contract in season 2. Well worth getting him! AI tip of the year!

Promoted to Premiership for season 3. Hurrah!
Now to see how much Forest Board give me as transfer kitty for the relegation dogfight ahead!

Finished 12th in season 2.
