* Div2 strugglings Partick Thistle get vote of confidence from Chairman *

THE BOARD of PT today give their boss a vote of confidence.

While slipping in to the Div 2 relegation zone is frankly unacceptable, the PT Board have no doubt the manager will steer the ship away from danger and soon be sailing up the Div 2 league table.

"The bright horizon awaits us" said one PT Director.

"We have a bright manager" said another,
but we may have misheard him when he said 'bright'!

PT are in the poo, that is no bull.
6 defeats, 1 draw and 1 win in last 8 games is the worst PT run of results in the clubs history. Fans are suffering and attendances are down.

In response to rumours, I can confirm previous PT boss was sacked last month due to personal abuse to other managers and also inappropriate images posted on this forum.

The Commish takes manager complaints seriously and the Chairman backs him in removing the PT boss from SESL.

New PT boss Brian (user: Garner) is already in place and we expect him to lead PT to future success.
No pressure then Brian!

Agree, PT are flying high and Div 1 bound for sure.
While teams like DEE and GRE stutter, PT go from strength to strength.

Many think the sesl C H A I R M A N talks alot of bull,

but Chairman seems to have motivated majority of managers that faced Chairman criticism.
eg, QOS, HAM, SRA.

While almost about to slip in to the Div 2 via relegation - frankly unacceptable for Glasgow's third team - the PT Board have today backed Garner to steer the ship away from danger and soon be sailing up the league table, even at this late stage in the SESL season.

In a JOURNAL posted on SESL web page today,
Manager O'Farrell refused to be drawn on his own future, and was unwilling to make a commitment to remain at Firhall regardless of this weekends results.

"That is not for me to say at this time, right now I'm concentrating on making sure my players have every oppurtunity to play Division One football next season with Partick Thistle.

What happens with me is up to the Chairman, whether I fail or succeed in my immeadiate task."
