Oct 17 - The QP Board have had a meeting to discuss whether the resources they have provided manager Stewart Gordon with are being utilised to their full potential.
They would like to draw to the attention of Stewart that their squad currently has the 5th highest rating in both the Top 11 and Top 17 of Division 3 squads.
The QP Board are slightly disappointed with their current league placing of 13th, when they would be expecting a challenge for the play off spots.
Unless the climb up the league continues at pace, we will have no option but to consider our options.
Even a senial old fool can see the turnaround going on at QP. The purple patch is over!
No offence Sir, but Mr Chairman, you are showing your age with criticism of the QP team.
QP were rock bottom when I took them on, and we are now up 3 places in the table having won 2 and drawn 1 of last 3 games. Even got DF Danny Ferry in to Team of the Week last session. The lads, so to speak, are on fire at the moment!
Our youth policy is the envy of larger clubs, including Celtic who paid us a 175k premium last week for our unwanted 0/7 GK.
So, I shall put a 5 point plan in place now, and if not achieved I will offer to stand down as manager at end of the season:-
1. Finish in top half of the table.
2. Score more goals than we concede this season.
3. Coach Mark Ferry 4/25 into a strong Captain for next season
4. Train youth products for future profitable sale.
5. Finally enable Early Cross tactic to work for us!
you know, Division 3 is mighty competitive.
but we are only at half way stage of league season, so Chairman should hold their bottle and not hit the panic button already.
The dilema for teams now is shoudl they go for SESL Cup glory, or try and collect league points and rest some players in SESL Cup matches?
I trust the Chairman of SESL will adopt a common sense approach
and take the fact 2 competitions are running together in to consideration before posting anymore forum ultimatums to under pressure managers!
Have you not heard the news? QP are ON THE UP!
Chairman can go stick his comments, and we are too busy on the training field to attend his silly Board meetings.
A play-off spot is still there for the taking!
Congrats to QP. You have silenced the Chairman.

BY THE WAY....to the QP Manager
Where did you get the picture of those two fine young ladies?

Perhaps the "picture of those two fine young ladies" is what silenced the QP Chairman!

And here are another fine two ladies
Baldy Chairman! Read this and weep!
2 wins last sessions, vs top of the table, and 5th in table. GRE & COW.
Kiss ma butt!
"The best way to silence the critics is with results" I've heard Alex McLeish say recently.
Seems a good fit for QP too, well done Stewart.

1. YES. Finished in top half of the table.
2. YES. Scored more goals than we concede this season.
3. FAIL. Never Coached Mark Ferry 4/25 into a strong Captain for next season
4. YES. Trained youth products for future profitable sale.
5. 50/50! Almost finally enable Early Cross tactic to work for us!
True to my word, Mr Chairman, I will offer to stand down as manager at end of the season and swap teams with another manager perhaps?
