What about your favourite, Gary O'Connor?

Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moscow are closing in on the signing of Hibernian striker Garry O'Connor in a £1.6m deal.

Suggested Rangers got a bargain 2 months ago by buying Scotland top league scorer this season (Kris Boyd) for a quarter of this price.

O'Connor and Boyd could make a great partnership for the Scotland international team in years to come perhaps.

Rangers got a bargain getting Boyd for quarter of price of O'Connor according to your good self Commish, in that case would you say Celtic got a bargain signing the Scotland international teams' top striker Kenny Miller, on a Bosman?

For the record I don't rate Boyd, seems McLeish has reservations considering he was dropped for vital games v Celtic and Villareal, and Walter Smith also unsure as he is not in the Scotland squad for this evening despite being Scotland's top league scorer.

I would question Walter Smiths ability to know who is best, as Maloney and Riordan are the best strikers in form just now and neither even got a chance to come off the subs bench last night at Hampden.

On a night when the Republic spank Sweden 3-0, we cannot compete with Switzerland - simply not good enough.

Disappointed Celtic withdrew 3 players from Scotland squad.

After a good season, McManus deserved to end his season with a couple of International caps, but his boss Strachan has denied him that priveledge to instead play in meaningless testimonials.
If I was the player, that would not be acceptable to me.
