1. roster squads must be between 20-25 with no exceptions.
2. 2 free apprentices given to all teams (one off bonus) to help boost squad numbers for next season. two rules above to help deal with "12 men on field" software bug (see elsewhere on this forum).
3. listing suspended players will be outlawed and team gate receipts given to other team for lazy management. this is regardless if suspended player takes the field or not. every team must have 16 fit players not under suspension, or sign apprentices, or be fined gate receipts as noted above.
4. listing suspended players 3 times in a season by same managers gets a one session suspension. further repeats will incur punishment at Commish discretion but ultimately if SESL is to remain competitive it can have no place for lazy managers.
5. a 500k cash boost to all teams on 20 August so every team may participate in the live auction.
6. yes indeed, the welcome return of the legendary sesl LIVE! player auction in a chat room, pre season (Sunday 14th August, 7pm UK time)
7. may have a mid-season sesl LIVE! player auction also (no cash boost though). perhaps Saturday 5th November, 12 noon UK time (to be confirmed)
8. a possible return of Bosmans for after season 15 to boost squad numbers - allocation of skill level to be discussed
9. expansion option for Div 3 teams only, end of season 15 (an every 5 season offer now!) will not be too generous but will consist of 20 players.
10. well, I think 9 in a row is plenty

On at least 10 occassions already this season suspended players have been listed. This may get worse as season progresses and DP mounts up.
Can I conclude the deterent of losing gate receipts is not working? I mean two managers have made the mistake twice already this season.
Everyone is aware of the 12 man rule, and if you doubt its an issue, how do you think the MOT and CLY managers feel today playing against 12 men?
Time to re-visit this with a forum discussion I suspect. I'd welcome your thoughts please.

Several teams list suspended players on a weekly basis now.
A short term fix is this rule ammendment:-
any suspended player listed in the sesl cup knockout stage this season will get his EL put at -99 so he cannot play in any future games in the sesl cup.
It is irrelvant if the suspended player takes the field on the 12 man bug, or was casually listed as a sub. It is outlawed from start of this season, but this rule is being broken several times on a weekly basis and requires this action until a proper fix can be resolved.

Even a EL -99 threat was not enough of a deterrent.
Enough is enough. There have been over 25 instances of suspended players listed so far this season, despite it being clearly outlawed at start of season.
The chances of SESL remaining with the current software (and its bugs) are now unlikely.
I will now explore 'online' options rather than the current 'email' set-up currently.
