Ok,

So Nillis and I tried the other night to connect to eachothers games through the network. Unfortunately we were unsuccessful.

After looking around a bit it MAY be something to do with our firewalls?

I haven't looked at mine yet but apparantly you need to have 10093 and 10094 enabled (what these are i do not know yet...... outgoing requests or summat maybe?)

Also, each player needs to have the exact same version of the game as well as the exact same database. Anyone who has edited theirs will get errors.

I will check my version asap to see if we are all compatible.

Hmmmm, I downloaded a patch from the FM website before we tried that, maybe that has something to do with it? Did you get a patch? You can get the v5.0.2 patch from This Link

As for the firewalls, there is a Formula One game that I play over the internet, where people all connect to one server, and for that to work you have to disable your firewalls, mine was, was yours Kev? I haven't got a clue about 10093 and 10094, never heard or seen about that in my life!
