Neil Nennon impression:-

Neil Lennon controlled midfield in yesterdays Rangers v Celtic game.
Was Ferguson and Ricksen even playing for the opposition? Anonymous in midfield.

I wonder if an English Premiership club would gamble on Lennon for a final season?

Petrov and Bellamy scored great goals and played well too.
In fact all the best players were wearing hoops.

Hibernian- 04-25-2005
Although to be fair, when the Celtic GK got man-of-the-match you have to say the opposition missed far too many chances.
They need a new striker for sure. Who is this Lee Miller chap !!!??? SESL/tongueout.gif

Celtic will be flying the SPL flag ph34r.gif
and can only throw it away now if their bottle goes. SESL/flag_gb.gif

Should that not be a white flag Mark?

Well, Celtic DID throw it away last season as their bottle went.

But leaders Hearts just sacking their manager have now just thrown the SPL title back to Celtic now.

Its all turned around this season, and Celtic will walk the SPL now and win with ease.
So much so they could probably give that injured pensioner Roy Keane a game -
and STILL win! SESL/jester.gif

Rangers are a shambles, and their best result lately was Falkirk beating Hibs yesterday so as Hibs did not widen the gap to Rangers in 4th spot.

As for Hearts - they will finish 2nd in SPL but should have held on to George Burley until end of the season.

Roy Keane is injured again.... and it was front page news on Saturday in Daily Record.
That is how exciting the SPL is.... not! SESL/tongueout.gif

True about Burley,
but 2nd place in SPL is a great achievement for Hearts. SESL/clap.gif SESL/clap.gif

After sacking another manager, will Hearts get 2nd place though?

I hear today SPL does not have a sponsor after next season. Partly Hearts fault for not spicing up SPL this season like they should have.

Its a pretty boring league when one team dominates, especially when Celtic have not even had a great season by their own high standards - out of Europe in July and out of Scottish Cup to lowly Clyde.

The only excitement in Scotland is to see if St Mirren can grab Div 1 title before Celtic win their SPL title. Even the Scottish Cup final is going to be a non-event as Hibs and Hearts meet in the semi-final, when it would have been fitting for the 2 Edinburgh clubs to have made Final.

again,
2nd place in SPL is a great achievement for Hearts......

....... if it happens! SESL/clap.gif

Dunfermline- 04-23-2006
It's more or less happened now.

2nd place in SPL is a great achievement for Hearts.

Yesterdays Old Firm game was unusually 0-0
and the atmosphere was unusually subdued also.

Neil Nennon impression:-

As for Neil Lennon yesterday - he really ought to go now.
Pipe and slippers for him and retrement. SESL/jerkit.gif
Either that or a babies dummy incase he needs kick the ball away like a spoilt brat again.

Can you imagine the Celtic midfield if Petrov and Nakamura get their wish and leave this summer?

Lennon and Keane in middle of the park - doubt that would get Strachan off to a flyer in europe next season either!

Wee Gordon Strachan will be spitting mad at Lennon at Tynecastle yesterday.
To make a pass back at almost half way line highlights just how defensive minded this 'player' is.
HEA 2 - 1 cel

I don't think Rangers will beat Hearts at Ibrox this Saturday.

Commish, you willing bet a £5 on this one? I say Hearts will leave with at least a point from Fortress Ibrox (hahahah!) Or you bottling out?
