Fellow Managers

I have decided to sack myself from SESL next season due to porr performance. It was not a light choice, but I am finding that I have neither the enthusiasm nor the time needed to devote to doing the game justice - as evidenced by my poor showing this season. I prefer to spend a good while checking all the posibilities, form, and tactics combinations when I plan my matches and I was just not getting to do so.

SESL is a good league, but it needs more attention than any of the others I play in, with Press needing to be written to get by, and constant monitoring of the website and fora and emails for news and events, and fairly heavy ordering schedule, it is sadly the one that has to be cut out of my life.

I look forward to continuing to spar with several of you in other leagues. I have some good young players who I hope will provide a new manager with a sound basis to push SRA back up the table.

Best Regards

Clive

Why does Clive not just take on another team and try and rebuild a lower team up again?

Look at what Gabby has done with GRE the last 2 seasons, for example?

Craig,

Clive just wrote that he can't find the necessary time required to dedicate for running a club at the moment.

Clive,

Good luck on other leagues and hopefully you'll be back to Sesl in the future. SESL/goodluckicon.gif

BTW, actually I don't think Stranraer was not in such a bad shape.
Sure, no one likes relegation, but it was a near run.
If only the Saints had such a roster SESL/abigcry.gif

Say it isn't so, Clive!

I have decided to sack myself from SESL next season due to poor performance.

Chairman rejects Clive's request.

SRA will continue with Clive at the helm with a review of manager thoughts at mid-season point next season.

With SESL going more online next season, time constraints may be less of an issue for Clive.

Not really sure what going "more online" is all about?

Can someone please explain?

Well, yes, I will see if I can shuffle things about and do some stuff at work to prepare for matches, thanks for the support chaps.

Mor online, means SESL will use the MSWL web-based lineups and structure... thats all web based and no need to "send in " text based orders sheet, its entered on line. Some pro's some con's, but it works and SASO also use it.
