Oct 17, 2005 - THE STIRLING Chairmen went on the war path today following Alfonso's slide down the Div 2 table.
STI recent form LDLDLL
Too much emphasis on TP'ing apprentices, and not enough focus on league results.
SET (3) and OTF (2) ratings are way too low for a club of STI stature, and steps must be taken to try and trade in some CP immediatelly.
STI play strugglers HAM & AI next session. 6 points are crucial.
We shall review your position as manager in 2 weeks time.
THE CHAIRMAN

October 17- STirling Manager answered the team chairman in the local news
When i arrived to this job Stirling was in the Division 3 bottom and now we are fighting to return division 1(or Divison 3)
" This streak LDLDLL has been really a matter of bad luck(we only lost 4-1 and 1-4 in games we deserved to win of course) and bad refrees i also suspect some of them were payed"
The youth players are our objective this season in the main plain who covers 18 seasons so i ask the chairman to give me a little time and let me work so i only need 17 1/2 seasons more and we ll see a Stirling chalenging for the championship
At the start of the season i asked the chairman to give me funds to win the division and he only gave me half of it so is natural we only have half the points.
We will try to get the points next season and finish the season were we deserve to be( i really hope we don t).
I really would like to get some CPs and i ll do as soon as the Chairman give me extra 2000 k to buy it
Ignoring trade offers is not "really a matter of bad luck" though, is it Alfonso?
I notice it is 8 league games without a win now for STI
Notice to struggling managers :
If you are struggling to find time to run your team and they are maybe in freefall, just give me a shout and I can bring in a caretaker manager.
A caretaker has taken control of STI now until end of season to allow Alfonso to take a break and have some breathing space while he is busy with work/family.
Even if a manager just needs a couple of weeks break, let me know and I can offer some help. There are 6 potential managers gagging to join in SESL, so caretaker managers are standing by!
May 29, 2008 - THE STIRLING Chairmen went on the war-path AGAIN today following boss Rene's slide down the Div 3 table.
STI had hoped to start over with an expansion roster but 3 aims remained for 2nd half of season 20:-
1. Stop selling all the best players and instead spend some CP to get OFT up to 10.
2. Don't give up. Stay active and participate.
3. Don't finish last and invoke the 'wooden spoon' rule.
Meetings continue at the STI stadium today, and we note an approach from a current Div 3 team for Rene to manager that team next season.
Whether that is FOR Rene remains to be agreed!
We shall review the position over the next 2 weeks.
