Can anybody advise any good tacticts for a poor helpless East Fife manager?????????

442 Normal team tactic is a good start.
Or 5-3-2 Opportunistic if you are leaking too many goals.
Use yoru CP/TP on FW's as much as you can now too. Get goals on the board, and then you can always coach/train your defenders later in season to consolodate teams position.

There's a good start.......wouldn't argue with that!
Maybe getting a star keeper as well as a FW?????
Play stars for 60 minutes (normal temp) per game then sub them. Star player can then play in every game that way????

Easy "starter" tactic: Have 3 WG, 1 FW and 2 MAs. Use 2 WG and 1 FW and 1 MA each match.
5-2-3 when you want defensive 4-3-3 for balanced 4-2-4 for ofensive
It will give good enough results till you learn more and choose your own style.

Can anybody advise any good tacticts for a poor helpless East Fife manager?
Game 9 GM v EF Pregame: Brian Fairbairn (EF) will start for the suspended Michael Mols and play FW.
Yes, try not to list suspended players!

Cheers for the help lads, i'll give some new tacticts a go. Probably start with not playing suspended players, D'oh!!!!!
SeslDotNet- 11-25-2004
EF got 2 wins last week, so have you turned the corner Jason?
I think Division 3 is a good division with at least half the teams battling for promotion places. GM will win the Division, we all need to accept that!
jase_23- 12-01-2004
Hopefully so, another two wins this week will put me right in with the top 4 with a bit of luck now i've got em team sorted and stopped listing suspended players!!
Stranraer- 12-01-2004
GM win the division!?! Pah.. they are entirely beatable, where's your sence of adventure man? :0) A leader is only in front until enough people drag them back to the pack.
GM boss- 12-01-2004
I quite agree. GM are by no means certainties to win Div 3. Our lead was cut to 4 points last week and we play second placed STE this week so a lot can change.
I appreciate your confidence though, Mark.

Usually when one teams (or two) draw away from the rest of the pacts, they usually ended up going all the way. Simply because teams below them decide to play to the max against one another to finish as high as possible.
It is currently true in all three divisions. In my press this week, I have actually encouraged more challenges to these top teams as well and not letting them have easy games.

The man Mike'04 makes an interesting point above. Teams at the top may an easy ride as managers assume defeat so rest key players when playing league leaders. Lets all get tore into the league leaders!
The only caveat of this viewpoint is that did GM not get torn apart by a lowly club last week? (QOS perhaps)
Michael Suwandi- 12-02-2004
As the matter of fact, usually it is the lower placed teams that managed to pull off suprised victories against the leading clubs. Simply because they will be resting and usually in the safe knowledge that the lower placed teams will also be resting knowing that they will never be able to win.
Hope more teams will do so to keep the two giants withing touching distances of the rest of the division 1 teams.

Don't be afraid to alter team tactics. Experiment, without just picking tactics at random and hoping for the best, ofcourse.
SRA said in press release today that Endurance Level management is crucial in the SESL and I agree. Rotate and rest your squad.
Maybe new managers this season could post some tips at season end that could help others. COW seems to have turned corner anyway for example.
ps, another tip: don't criticise press editor Phil's team CLY in your press like I did today - he only awards you 25k, but himself 40k for a lesser press release!
jase_23- 02-17-2005
At least you know for next time!!!
Maybe if you praise CLY and saw how great they are you'll get extra??
I have to say, after a VERY poor start to the seaon, think i might be getting the hang of it!!! Using CP and TP as often is a must, especially in pre-season games.
If there's any new managers out there, TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
