Dunfermline- 06-27-2006
I have taken Dundee United as far as I can.

I would now like to drop down a division or two and re-build a struggling team.

Who would like to swap teams with me?

Post your reasons why on this forum thread please.

Me please.

1) I'm a Dundee United fan

2) My team Ross County have been relegated twice in 2 years and will probably for the 1st time appear in divison 3

3) You have a fair bit of cash to start you're re-building.

4) Where you have ambition to build up bad teams I appear to like doing the opposite. Both of the teams that have had the misfortune to have me as manager are next year going to be languishing in the lowest division.

5) For one reason or another last season wasn't my most productive in SESL. This could be just the job I need. A bit of re-vitalisation is in order.

6) I'll promise not to move again after making this my 3rd team in approximately 3 seasons.

I am happy for team swaps sometimes, especially when manager is a real life fan of sesl club involved.

Assuming your relegation reputation did not continue, then this could be worth a swap, if DUU agree. I know he mentioned having a crack at turning GM around recently, but ROS has potential with decent youth and plenty cash.

Anyone else want to consider swapping teams?

Suppose Ross County appeal to me for a team swap.

If anything, they are maybe "too good" if that makes sense. I want an utterly rubbish team that I can enjoy challenge of rebuilding. Look at how Steve at DEV turned that club around - that is challenge I want.

Anyone else wish to consider a team swap?

Oooooh! This is too much! Ross County fail in their appeal because they didn't lose ENOUGH games!

Falkirk- 12-20-2006
Rumours have emerged that Falkirk and Greenock Morton may be team swapping for season 18.

More news when we get it!

Not wishing to appear to upset any apple carts but I am not an actual Forfar supporter, so this manager would consider any move. I said consider - it is not automatic.

My real life teams in order are: Hibs, East Fife, Dunfermline - but I still have an outside chance in the playoff with ALB to get promotion to the 2nd Division.

It is a nice thread, any more? SESL/goodluckicon.gif

GM boss- 01-03-2007
Confirmation has come through that GM and FAL have swapped managers. Craig McPherson has made the bold move of taking on struggling GM in Div 3. Meanwhile I have reluctantly agreed to swap the glamour of the lower leagues to lead Falkirk in Division 1 next season.

Needless to say, this news is set to rock the email soccer world to its very foundations. Things will never be the same again. Certainly the GM squad looks alomost entirely different already!

Cheers
