This was a lot of fun (participated for Clyde and also another squad on various occasions, but there were a couple of detractors. First, the teams were somewhat unbalanced due to the difference in team strengths from league to league. The commissioner did a fine job of equalizing the teams by adding SL, but then, it didn't seem like my team anymore. Next, because of the "short schedule" there was a lot of T-11 aggressive, which seemed not very realistic. All in all though, it's a good deal because it gets managers together and it's a fun competition.

It would be great if it were possible to bring it back. Imagine these games getting interspersed with league play, then it would be like Champions League with league or europe considerations with rotation.

Yes indeed.

But other leagues on different levels perhaps to SESL.

Some may have player on much higher Skill Level
(or much lower SL , I don't know)

I have received positive feedback from Al Sellers (Olmec & MSWL) Mike Morton (SFLSL) & Mark (SESL) & am currently putting together a plan of action to revive the OLMEC CUP ! Watch this space!

Yes he has George and I am now in posession of the full history of the Olmec Cup .I will be posting it on the Olmec Cup website as soon as the database is ready
