Newcastle need goals and could do worse than bring in Earnshaw for peanuts. He is not getting a start at West Brom it seems again this season.

No way 3 players from same team would win World Footballer of Year, and certainly not 3 from Newcastle! I am shocked by this as I thought FM was a realistic game!

I agree. Michael Owen may not be the best player in the world, but he will score goals wherever he plays.
He has almost singlehandedly got Newcastle in to top half of table.
Bet Liverpool could do with his goals in the Premiership just now!

I've given up on them now. It's too depressing and frustrating! I'm gonna just follow my other team now instead (Newcastle Falcons) They aren't doing very well either but at least you get the impression the players give their best in rugby!

The players come and have a pint in the clubhouse after each game (win, draw or lose) and have a chat with us (the supporters) - can you imagine that happening at St James?

I still feel a little sorry for Souness as his team hasn't really had a fair run without injuries to key players etc -- but I'm sure there is a sob story at every club!

I think Souness can make top 10 this season which is fair enough given the lack of strikers cover (M.Owen injured and Shearer past it)
