In Holland it is believed that Celtic are trying to sign Maceo Rigters from the Dutch Team NAC Breda. This because of his good performance during the last Euro Under 21 tournament in Holland.
In my opinion it remains to be seen if Rigters is a good player. He plays at NAC and is not a senior team regular. This season he played only 22 matches include ing Cup matches. He made some progression this season, but a move from NAC to Celtic is a bit too fast. He should first gain a regular senior team place in the lineup before even thinking about a move abroad. One good tournament does not mean a good player.
The same goes for Feyenoord player Royston Drenthe, who is linked with Real Madrid. He played left back this season and made quite a few errors. During the U21 tournament he played left midfielder and did it great, but not at Real Madrid levels.
What do you all think about it and who do you think will become great senior players in the future?

I think Celtic were linked with Rigters BEFORE the Euro under 21 Championships this month.
Winning golden boot as top scorer with have added a million or more Euro's to Rigters transfer price tag though.
From what I saw, Ryan Babel appeared a top youth.

Maceo Rigters from the Dutch Team NAC Breda signed for Blackburn.
I imagine he will be a sub as can't see him playing many times in the Premiership.
Good luck to him, but Celtic may have been a better move for him to have more 1st team chances, although Celtic have 5 or 6 first team strikers already currently.
