Continuing from a topic that was raised in work today, did you any of you play football when younger, or perhaps still do?

If so what was your position, and who did you try to model your play on, I don't mean you all time idol like yer Kenny Dalglish's etc?

I only played at Primary and Seconday school age.

I usually played right back, (and before he went on to join Rangers wub.gif) , I always liked Gary Stevens as a player - when he was in the Everton team that won the Cup Winners Cup back in 85 or whatever.

After that it was Chris Morris who played right back at Celtic - although I gave up playing around that time (alcohol and wummin you see, yes, at the age of 15!)......

Well im managinng to jump between drink, football and women, and as 1 of our coaches always tell us if you stick to the rule of doing things in a certain order you it will work, he has the order of football then you drink then its the women!! it seems to work for me!

i play for nairn county u-18's and i play centre back, i dont really try to model myself on anyone, however i would love to play like Franco Baresi, but its more like the "ave it" boy from the john smiths advert!!!

you can keep track of how the team i play for is getting on by checking the youth table at www.highlandfootballleague.com
